An annular recess portion opening radially over the entire circumference is formed on an inner radial side or an outer radial side of at least one of a pair of sliding surfaces of the sliding component and a supply groove communicating with the annular recess portion and extending radially on the sliding surfaces is formed on at least one of the pair of sliding surfaces.
