Zusammenfassung:A thermal manifold structured and configured to maintain a temperature profile required to perform a reverse transcription reaction within a flow channel having a liquid contained therein. In some embodiments, the reverse transcription reaction may occur while the liquid is in a laminar flow regime within the flow channel. The thermal manifold may include an integral flow channel, or a flow channel with a Teflon tube contained therein. Additionally, the placement of the thermal manifold may vary within a continuous-flow emulsion droplet reactor system.
