The carbon dioxide absorbent includes biomass combustion ash that is combustion ash of biomass, the biomass combustion ash including calcium oxide. The biomass may include at least one of wood, a livestock excrement, sewage sludge, or an agricultural residue. The biomass may be excrement evacuated by a chicken for a chicken egg. The carbon dioxide absorbent may be slurry including the biomass combustion ash and water. The carbon dioxide absorbent may be a granule, and may include the biomass combustion ash and a binder.
