A method for drug screening may comprise treating various single cell samples with different drugs or drug combinations, labeling of treated cells with a labeling agent comprising a sample barcode, and processing the treated, labeled cells to generate nucleic acid libraries for sequencing. One or more processes of the methods described herein may be performed within a partition, such as a droplet or well.
