Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A technique for solving problems related to intense light that is reflected back from a reflector target in laser scanning, is provided. A processing device controls laser scanning that is performed by a laser scanning apparatus having a light reception unit. The processing device includes a laser scanning apparatus controller, a saturation determination unit, and a variable optical attenuator controller. The laser scanning apparatus controller makes the laser scanning apparatus execute first laser scanning and second laser scanning. The saturation determination unit determines a state of saturation of the light reception unit, with respect to laser-scanned point clouds obtained in the first laser scanning. The variable optical attenuator controller adjusts an intensity of light to be received by the light reception unit in the second laser scanning, based on a result of determination.
