Zusammenfassung:A multi-band antenna may include a first antenna array for operation in a first frequency range and a second antenna array for operation in a second frequency range that is higher than the first frequency range. The first antenna array may include at least one antenna element having a plurality of components, where at least one of the plurality of components is constructed with a frequency selective surface (FSS) comprising a plurality of FSS elements. The FSS may be configured for the at least one of the plurality of components to provide a rejection of a coupling of energy from the second frequency range, and for the at least one of the plurality of components to provide a transmission of signals in the first frequency range suitable for use in a cellular communication system.
