Zusammenfassung:	A pneumatic pressure control valve for a brake control system of a rail vehicle includes a first pressure chamber to which a brake pressure can be applied, and a second pressure chamber to which a predetermined, adjustable pressure can be applied, wherein the first pressure chamber and the second pressure chamber are sealed off with respect to one another via a pressure compensation piston, and wherein the pressure compensation piston is designed to open a flow connection from the first pressure compensation chamber to a ventilation duct when the effect of the pressure on the pressure compensation piston in the first pressure chamber is greater than the effect of the pressure on the pressure compensation piston in the second pressure chamber.
