In some embodiments, the assembly may comprise a printed circuit board, an integrated circuit coupled to the printed circuit board on a first surface of the printed circuit board, and an antenna coupled to the printed circuit board on a second surface of the printed circuit board opposite the first surface. A vertical waveguide may extend through the printed circuit board from the integrated circuit to the antenna and may be configured to deliver and/or receive electromagnetic energy between the integrated circuit and the antenna.
