| Zusammenfassung: | A medical device is disclosed which, when a biological tissue is clamped by an expansion body, can adjust the pressing force applied on the biological tissue by an electrode portion to be appropriate. The present disclosure includes an expansion body, a shaft portion, and an electrode portion. The expansion body has a recess. The recess comprises a bottom portion, a proximal-side upright portion, and a distal-side upright portion. One of the proximal-side upright portion and the distal-side upright portion is provided with the electrode portion, while the other of the proximal-side upright portion and the distal-side upright portion is provided with a bifurcated outer peripheral portion, a back support portion which has a receiving surface and which is disposed inside the outer peripheral portion, and an arm portion which extends from the back support portion.
