The optoelectronic system has a soiling collector which is arranged in the interior and is designed to attract soiling which may be present in the interior and retain it on itself, so as to concentrate the soiling present in the interior on the soiling collector. A lidar system which comprises such an optoelectronic system, and a corresponding method for cleaning the interior of the optoelectronic system, are also described.
