Zusammenfassung:	A paper feeding roll includes a shaft body and an elastic material layer. A first outer diameter portion and a second outer diameter portion having a larger outer diameter than the first outer diameter portion are provided in a portion where the elastic material layer is provided. A sloping portion is provided connecting between the first and second outer diameter portions so that the outer diameter varies along an axial direction. The sloping portion occupies 3% to 80% of the portion where the elastic material layer is provided. A difference in outer diameter between the first and second outer diameter portions is 50 μm to 1,000 μm. Protrusions that form surface unevenness are formed on an outer peripheral surface of the elastic material layer. Surface roughness of the first outer diameter portion is 50% to 200% of a step difference between the first and second outer diameter portions.
