Zusammenfassung:	A compressor of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a casing having an inner volume and an inner surface defining the inner volume, where the inner volume is configured to accommodate a rotor therein. The compressor also includes an economizer port formed in the casing and configured to inject a flow of fluid into the inner volume and a valve disposed within the economizer port and configured to regulate the flow of fluid into the inner volume. The valve has an inward-facing surface, and the inward-facing surface is aligned with the inner surface of the casing in a closed position of the valve.
