For example, a method can include obtaining a first map of an environment in which the computing device is located and obtaining a second map of the environment based on sensor data from one or more sensors. The method can include comparing first one or more elements of the first map and second one or more elements of the second map. Each respective element of the first one or more elements corresponds to a respective element of the second one or more elements. The method can further include determining whether to use the first map or the second map for at least one navigation function based on comparing the first one or more elements of the first map with the second one or more elements of the second map. |
