Zusammenfassung:	A method includes receiving glucose data of a patient at a glucometer having a display. The glucose data includes a glucose measurement measured by the glucometer and a glucose time associated with the glucose measurement. The method also includes obtaining patient information associated with the patient that includes a target blood glucose for the patient and a correction factor. The method also includes when the glucose measurement of the patient exceeds the target blood glucose for the patient, calculating a correction dose of insulin based on the glucose measurement of the patient, the target blood glucose for the patient, and the correction factor. The method also includes displaying the correction dose of insulin on the display of the glucometer.
