Zusammenfassung:A switch assembly for a vehicle includes a first switch and a second switch that is adjacent the first switch. The first and second switches are actuatable independently of actuation of the other one of the switches. A switch actuator presents a surface in an interior of the vehicle for a user to press/contact to selectively actuate the first and second switches. A processor is configured to initiate a communication function (e.g., an emergency call) based on determining when the first and second switches have been actuated in a predefined manner (e.g., that the first and second switches have been actuated simultaneously or individually actuated within a predefined time).
