Zusammenfassung:An optical module (100) includes: a polarization film (101) configured to convert incident light into first polarized light having a first polarization state and second polarized light having a second polarization state; and a phase delay layer (102) configured to convert the first polarized light and the second polarized light into third polarized light having a third polarization state and fourth polarized light having a fourth polarization state, where the first polarization state is different from the second polarization state. The phase delay layer (102) includes a control layer (360). The control layer (360) includes one or more control elements. The optical module (100) may be used in a display apparatus. In this case, display effect of the display apparatus can be improved, and usage of effective polarized light of a backlight unit can be improved, so that power consumption of the display apparatus is reduced.
