Zusammenfassung:This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for a trackball including an adaptive brake. In an aspect, an apparatus includes a trackball, a wheel coupled to the trackball and configured to rotate about an axis, and a brake system configured to apply a braking force to the wheel. In some aspects, the brake system includes a magnetorheological fluid (MRF) brake, such as an MRF rotational brake. The MRF brake may be configured to apply a braking force to the wheel.
