In some embodiments, the active ingredient and the stabilizer are intimately mixed in a matrix formulation. In some embodiments, the active ingredient is selected from 4 amino-3-(4-chlorophenyl)butanoic acid) ("baclofen") and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts.
