Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a positive electrode active material and a lithium secondary battery using a positive electrode comprising the same, and more particularly, to a positive electrode active material which has improved electrochemical properties and improved stability by controlling a pore area and a pore shape of a lithium composite oxide included in the positive electrode active material by adjusting the proportions of ammonia and caustic soda, used in co-precipitation for synthesizing a precursor of the positive electrode active material, and a lithium secondary battery using a positive electrode containing the positive electrode active material.
