Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device, including a processing system including a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing system, facilitate performance of operations of determining network capacity to provide an enhanced experience to user equipment running an application; determining whether the user equipment features can provide the enhanced experience, wherein the determination is based in part on capability, location and subscription status; and responsive to a determination of adequate network capacity and adequate user equipment features, offering the enhanced experience through the application.
