Zusammenfassung:An electrically conductive contact element for an electrical connector comprises a body and a layer of electrically conductive material provided on the body. The body includes a first face having at least one depression forming a reservoir defined therein. The layer of electrically conductive material is provided on the first face of the body and fills the at least one depression. The layer defines a contact surface adapted to be brought into contact with a surface of a connecting part of a mating electrical connector mated with the electrical connector. The contact surface is formed by a surface of the layer of electrically conductive material facing away from the body.
