Zusammenfassung:An apparatus includes the following: a photoplethysmogram sensor head including a light emitter and a photo detector, wherein the photo detector is disposed in a diagonal orientation with respect to a light path from the light emitter to the light detector; and an opaque mask over the photo detector, wherein the mask covers at least partially that half of the photo detector that is at a greater distance from the light emitter and leaves a remaining half of the photo detector exposed.
