Zusammenfassung:	A solid state battery that includes: a battery element including a positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer interposed between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer; a composite protective layer covering the battery element, wherein the composite protective layer includes a first protective layer and a second protective layer arranged around the battery element so as to have an overlapping region where the first protective layer and the second protective layer overlap each other; and a conducting part capable of extracting electricity from the battery element to an outside of the solid state battery, the conducting part extending from the overlapping region to the outside of the solid state battery.
