Zusammenfassung:	A distance measuring device (1) includes a light emitting unit (13), a light receiving unit (14), and a control unit (11). In the light receiving unit (14), a plurality of light receiving elements (20) that receives reflected light (L2), which is light (L1) of the light emitting unit (13) that has been reflected, is two-dimensionally arranged. The control unit (11) performs control to read the detection signal of each of a predetermined number of light receiving elements among the plurality of light receiving elements and measure distance. The control unit (11) detects abnormality of the light emitting unit (13) on the basis of a calculated value calculated on a basis of detection signals of a predetermined number of light receiving elements.
