Zusammenfassung:	A method is provided for tracking and/or locating a delivery item. A first delivery-item transport equipment label is temporarily attached to a bracket, wherein the bracket includes a main body with a first identifier permanently attached to the bracket and a second identifier comprising a radio-frequency identification (RFID) chip permanently attached to the bracket. The first delivery-item transport equipment label and at least one of the first identifier and the second identifier are scanned to associate the first delivery-item transport equipment label with at least the RFID chip. The RFID chip is scanned during use of a delivery-item transport equipment to which the bracket is attached. A location of the first delivery-item transport equipment label is identified based on the scanning of the RFID chip.
