Some implementations of the invention include a support bar for partially supporting a tool as the task is performed on a workpiece coupled to the workstation. Some implementations of the invention allow a workpiece to be positioned at a reference location or orientation relative to the workstation. Some implementations of the invention allow a tool to perform an action based on determining the position of the tool relative to the workstation using computer vision techniques to analyze a feature of the workstation.
