Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus is caused to cause a graphical user interface to be output by a display. The graphical user interface includes a first menu having two or more selectable states capable of being added to a state machine corresponding to a network element. The graphical user interface also includes a second menu having one or more selectable workflows capable of being added to the state machine. The graphical user interface further includes a state machine generation workspace. The apparatus is also caused to cause a first user interface object to be added to the state machine generation workspace, a second user interface object to be added to the state machine generation workspace, and to generate a state machine corresponding to the network element. The first user interface object is representative of a first state. The second user interface object is representative of a second state.
