Zusammenfassung:	An intraosseous needle includes a cylindrical shaft. The cylindrical shaft includes a first portion comprising a plurality of threads protruding from the cylindrical shaft. The cylindrical shaft includes a second portion comprising a plurality of fenestrations, disposed between the first portion and a distal end of the cylindrical shaft, wherein the cylindrical shaft is continuous and smooth within the second portion, and where the continuous, smooth second portion is longer than the first portion. The intraosseous needle also includes a needle head extending from a proximal end of the cylindrical shaft.
