Zusammenfassung:	A cooling device for a rotating machine that is to be provided in a vehicle. The cooling device includes: (a) an electric oil pump; (b) a control device configured to control operation of the electric oil pump; (c) a cooling oil passage for applying oil outputted by the electric oil pump, to a coil of the rotating machine. The control device is configured to control the operation of the electric oil pump, depending on a pressure difference between a predetermined pressure reference value and an atmospheric pressure value that is detected by an atmospheric pressure sensor.
