Zusammenfassung:	A polyether ketone ketone (PEKK) has a terephthaloyl:isophthaloyl (T:I) ratio of 100:0. A process for preparing the PEKK is also provided. The process includes polymerizing 1,4-bis (4-phenoxybenzoyl) benzene (EKKE) with terephthaloyl chloride (TPC), and an end capping agent in a fluid medium, to obtain a product mixture including the PEKK. The PEKK is thermally stable and is melt processable on compounding, for injection molding and extrusion.
