Zusammenfassung:	A method of producing a separator for a lithium secondary battery, the separator being interposed between a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the lithium secondary battery, includes: preparing a separator substrate; forming a ceramic coating layer by applying a first coating solution containing a ceramic material to a surface of the separator substrate; and forming a reaction layer that scatters X-rays, by applying a second coating solution containing a metal compound to an edge portion of an upper surface of the ceramic coating layer that is not in contact with the positive electrode and the negative electrode.
