Zusammenfassung:A connector includes a metal shell, a terminal module fixed to the metal shell, and a cable electrically connected to the terminal module. The metal shell includes a main body and a shielding plate integrally formed with the main body. The terminal module includes a first terminal module and a second terminal module disposed on opposite sides of the shielding plate, respectively. By providing the first terminal module and the second terminal module on the opposite sides of the shielding plate, the signal shielding of the first terminal module and the second terminal module can be improved. Besides, by arranging the shielding plate and the main body integrally, the manufacturing cost can be saved. A connector assembly having the connector is also disclosed.
