Zusammenfassung:	A trim element having a display area defined by a display device, and an edge piece that includes a peripheral area extending around at least part of the display area, the peripheral area being at least partly translucent, the display area and the peripheral area forming at least a part of an outer surface of the trim element. The trim element further includes an illumination device arranged to illuminate the display device to display images on the display area. The illumination device has a luminous sheet extending at least facing the display area and the peripheral area of the edge piece.
