Zusammenfassung:	A protection circuit in this application is electrically connected between a first tab and a second tab of a cell. The protection circuit includes a first branch circuit or includes a first branch circuit and a second branch circuit that are connected in parallel. When a temperature of the cell is greater than or equal to a first temperature threshold, the cell is discharged through the first branch circuit. When the temperature of the cell is greater than or equal to a second temperature threshold, the cell is discharged through both the first branch circuit and the second branch circuit. The second temperature threshold is greater than the first temperature threshold.
