The electrode has an electrode body made of a thermally stable material, for example, hard metal, tungsten, steel, stainless steel or similar. The electrode has a coating made of a material with a low melting point, such as silver, silver alloys or another metal with a low melting point. A bonding layer, in particular a gold layer, can be provided between the coating and the electrode body.
