A surface-treating agent containing (1) a fluoroalkylsilane oligomer mixture; and (2) a perfluoroalkyl group-containing silane compound. Also disclosed is an article including a substrate and a layer on a surface of the substrate, the layer being formed of the surface-treating agent.
