Zusammenfassung:	A base element for a kitchen appliance includes a base and a support panel, which can be at least partly simultaneously rotated and moved relative to the base. Running grooves, in which rolling bodies that are held in a rolling body cage are guided, are molded into mutually facing surfaces of the base and the support panel. The running grooves are shaped such that the support panel can be rotated out of a base position in a translational manner in one direction and about a rotational angle of maximally 160° in opposite rotational directions.
