The apparatus comprises one or more processors to receive a first image frame, generate a first correction lookup table associated with the first image frame, apply a filter to the first correction lookup table to generate a first smoothened lookup table and transform the first image frame using the first smoothened lookup table to generate a pixel boosted frame and a memory communicatively coupled to the one or more processors.
