Zusammenfassung:	Techniques for radio frequency uplink performance assessment utilizing downlink erasure frame analysis are provided. An indication of if a received frame has been determined to be an erasure frame is received from a plurality of receiver wireless communications devices. The indications of if the received frame has been determined to be an erasure frame are aggregated. The frame identified by the frame identifier is declared to be an erasure frame when at least one of the plurality of wireless communications devices has indicated the received frame has been determined to be an erasure frame. That an error occurred on an uplink between the sender wireless communication device and the RAN is determined when the frame is declared an erasure frame.
