Zusammenfassung:	A battery includes an electrode group, and a rectangular exterior casing that houses the electrode group and includes a tubular side wall, a bottom connected to a lower end of the side wall in a Z direction, and an opening provided at an upper end. An inner surface of the bottom of the exterior casing has a slope inclined with respect to a plane orthogonal to the Z direction. The electrode group is in thermal contact with the slope. The bottom may have a protrusion protruding inward in the Z direction of the exterior casing, and the slope may be formed on the protrusion.
