Zusammenfassung:A camera-based system and method for detecting, classifying and tracking distributed objects moving along surface terrain and through multiple zones. The system acquires images from an image sensor mounted in each section or zone, classifies objects in the zone, detects pixel coordinates of the object, transforms the pixel coordinates into a position in real space, and generates a path of each object through the zone. The system further predicts a path of an object from a first cell for matching of criteria to objects in a second cell, whereby objects may be associated across cells based on predicted paths and without the need to storage and transmission of personally identifiable information.
