Zusammenfassung:An elevator control input device includes at least two sensors which are configured for detecting the presence of an object, in particular a part of a human body such as a hand or a finger, within a vicinity of the respective sensor. The elevator control input device is configured for triggering a first action individually associated with the respective sensor when the object is detected to be situated closer than a first distance (d1) but further away than a second distance (d2) from the respective sensor; and for triggering a second action individually associated with the respective sensor when the object is detected to be situated closer than the second distance (d2) from the respective sensor.
