Zusammenfassung:	Provided is an optically clear protective cover plate for Human Machine Interface (HMI) touch panel displays wherein the cover plate is formed from a thermoplastic polymer comprising a high melt flow polycarbonate. The polycarbonate is characterized by a melt flow rate (MFR), or melt flow index (MFI), of between about 60 and about 80 g/10 min (ASTM D-1238, 300′C/1.2 kg).
