Zusammenfassung:	An authentication device, a vehicle having the same, and a method of controlling the vehicle are provided. The device includes a recognizer configured to recognize a fingerprint of a user, a storage configured to store fingerprint information of the user, a communicator configured to communicate with a driving device of a vehicle; and a controller configured to, when the fingerprint matches the fingerprint information, transmit, to the driving device, authentication success information representing a user authentication that is valid for a first predetermined period of time, and, when the fingerprint does not match the fingerprint information, restrict fingerprint recognition for a second predetermined period of time.
