Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a wheelbase structure (configured to form at least a part of a vehicle main supporting structure by extending from a first axle to a second axle, the first and second axles being separated along a longitudinal direction. The wheelbase structure comprises an outer boundary forming an inner housing space for housing energy storage or transformation devices, wherein at least a portion of the outer boundary is formed by a sandwich structure comprising a plurality of layers of different material.
