A receiver control method includes: when a receiver of a terminal is at a first position of the terminal, picking up, by using a microphone, an audio signal sent by the receiver; and if there is a noise in the audio signal picked up by the microphone, moving the receiver to a second position of the terminal. When the receiver is at the first position, an orthographic projection of a first sound hole of the receiver along a first direction at least partially overlaps with a target component. When the receiver is at the second location, the orthographic projection of the first sound hole along the first direction does not overlap with the target component.
