Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to montelukast for use in the treatment of erosive hand osteoarthritis. According to this use, montelukast can be administered either orally or topically, in the form of any suitable pharmaceutical composition. Patients suffering from erosive hand osteoarthritis treated with montelukast showed improvement in clinical symptoms and in radiological parameters, and also reported pain relief and hand functionality improvement.
