Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A braking system having a rotating element that rotates about an axis, and a braking device for braking the rotating element. The braking device has a first braking element that is movable between a rest position and a braking position and has an annular braking surface which is arranged concentrically with respect to the axis and has a brake disc which is co-rotationally connected to the rotating element and has first and second frictional surfaces. The annular braking surface of the first braking element is arranged at a distance from the brake disc in the rest position, and is in contact with the first frictional surface thereof in the braking position. A second braking element is arranged such that in the braking position the first braking element presses the brake disc against the second braking element such that the second braking element is in contact with the second frictional surface.
