The electronic device of the present disclosure includes a sensor, a display, a camera, and a processor. The processor determines a boundary area between a wall surface and an area other than the wall surface area from an image frame acquired by the camera, determines the distance between the electronic device and a wall surface corresponding to the wall surface area on the basis of the position of the electronic device and the determined boundary area, the position of the electronic device being determined by the sensor, and controls the display so that an object is displayed on the walls surface area in a size corresponding to the determined distance.
