Zusammenfassung:	A polyimide precursor which is characterized by: containing, as a structural unit derived from a diamine, a structural unit derived from 2,2-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzidine in an amount of 60% by mole or more with respect to all structural units derived from a diamine; and containing, as structural units derived from a tetracarboxylic dianhydride, structural units derived from one or more kinds selected from 4,4′-(2,2′-hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic dianhydride and 4,4′-oxydiphthalic dianhydride in a total amount of 20% by mole or more with respect to all structural units derived from a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride, in which a yellowness index (converted for a film thickness of 10 μm) for a polyimide obtained by imidization is 10 or less, and a tear propagation resistance is 1.0 mN/μm or more.
